What Is the Listing Price Fee?
- The listing price is set by the vehicle owner.
- Owners control their daily, weekly, or monthly rates.
- You pay this fee upfront when submitting your booking request.
- Extensions can be made directly in your dashboard, but they require the owner’s approval.
What Are TripCity’s Transaction Fees?
TripCity charges a daily Renter Transaction Fee, which covers insurance and platform costs. The fee varies by state:
- AZ, CA, DC, FL, GA, IL, IN, MD, TX
- $20/day for personal use

- $26/day for rideshare use
- $26/day for rideshare use
- CT, NV, NJ, PA, VA, WA (effective August 11, 2025)
- $36/day for both personal and rideshare use
- $36/day for both personal and rideshare use
What About a Security Deposit?
- TripCity does not require a deposit by default.
- Vehicle owners may choose to set a deposit at their discretion.
- Always check the vehicle description and confirm directly with the owner before booking.
