How Booking Requests Work

Understand what you need to do when submitting a request.

Before You Submit a Request

Do your research before sending a booking request.

Review:

  • The owner’s reviews and ratings.

  • The full listing description.

  • Vehicle usage terms and mileage limits.

If you are booking for rideshare or gig use:

  • Make sure the vehicle qualifies for the platform you plan to use.

  • Verify any documentation requirements with the owner in advance.

When You Submit a Booking Request

  • No payment is captured at the time of submission.

  • Your card may be authorized for verification, but funds are not taken.

  • You can wait for owner approval without committing financially.

Important: Do Not Go to the Vehicle Yet

Submitting a request does not mean:

  • The vehicle is reserved.

  • The owner has approved.

  • You are cleared for pickup.

We strongly recommend:

  • Do not travel to the pickup location.

  • Wait until you receive an approval notification in your account.

Arriving before approval may result in delays or denied access.

What This Means for You

  • No upfront charge just to submit a request.

  • Clear confirmation before any payment is processed.

  • More flexibility while waiting for owner responses.

  • More flexibility when requesting vehicles.

Submit Multiple Booking Requests

You can now:

  • Submit up to 4 booking requests at the same time.

  • Only one active request per owner.

This helps you find availability faster while keeping the marketplace fair.

What Happens After an Owner Approves

Once an owner approves one of your booking requests:

  • Payment is captured for the approved booking.

  • Any other active booking requests are automatically canceled.

  • You are committed to one rental only.
