Owner Payouts
Learn how and when TripCity processes payouts, how to track them, and where to view income reports.
When Payouts Are Processed
- Payouts are processed every Monday.
- Payments reflect rental activity from Saturday to Saturday of the prior week.
- Depending on your bank, funds are typically received Tuesday through Thursday.
- Delays may occur during holidays or banking closures.
Stripe Split Payouts Explained
In some cases, Stripe may split a payout into multiple transfers.
This happens when:
- The total payout amount exceeds the maximum supported by a banking partner or payout rail.
Important details:
- This process is automatic.
- It is not caused by your account settings or manual intervention.
- Multiple payout objects may be created on the same day and scheduled to land together.
- Only one payout will include the full attribution report.
- The remaining payouts are secondary and complete the transfer.
This ensures your full payout is delivered without unnecessary delays.
Why Split Payouts May Arrive on Different Days
Even when payouts are initiated together, they may land on different dates due to:
- Bank processing times. Each payout is handled as a separate transaction.
- Daily cutoff times. Payouts initiated after a bank’s cutoff may post the next business day.
- Compliance or review checks. A portion of a payout may be delayed for additional review.
You can check the status and expected arrival date for each payout directly in your dashboard.
Where Payouts Go
- Payouts are sent directly to the bank account linked in Stripe.
- You can log into your Stripe account at any time to view:
- Initiated payouts
- Expected arrival dates
- To update banking or account details, changes must be made directly in Stripe.
TripCity cannot modify payout destinations on your behalf.
Viewing Reports in Your TripCity Dashboard
Go to Accounts > Reports for detailed financial insights.
Available reports include:
- Income Report
- Shows individual or grouped rental income paid by renters.
- Payout Report
- Shows individual or grouped payouts sent to your Stripe account.
- Booking Report
- Displays bookings by status.
- The “All” and “Currently” views ignore date ranges.
- Fleet Report
- Shows vehicles and fleet status for a selected timeframe.
- Incidental Report
- Displays incidentals submitted against rentals.
- Utilization Report
- Shows the number of days a vehicle was rented.
- Late days are not included.
All reports include filtering options so you can review performance by vehicle or timeframe.
