Preferred Renter is a status that shows owners you are reliable and easy to work with.

It helps build trust and improves your chances of getting approved for bookings.

There is no application required. Qualification is automatic.

Benefits of Preferred Renter

• Access to listings that may prioritize experienced renters

Qualification Requirements

You will qualify once you meet all of the following:

Account Age

• Your account must be at least 60 days old

Rental Activity

• At least 30 completed rental days
• Paid extensions count toward this total

Identity Verification

• Your identity must be approved and active

Rating

• Maintain a 4+ star rating if you have reviews
• If you have no reviews yet, you are still eligible

Payment History

• No bookings can have ended in a payment failure

Account Standing

• No outstanding incidental charges

How It Works

• Eligibility is checked twice per month
• The badge is applied automatically once you qualify
• No manual action is required

Maintaining Your Status

If you fall below the requirements:

• The status may be removed
• You can regain it once you meet the criteria again at a future check.
