Updating Driver Profile & Gig Information

What drivers can update, what requires support, and why some rideshare verifications are rejected.

Updating Your Driver Profile

Once your TripCity driver profile has been verified, most personal information becomes locked for security reasons.

Drivers cannot update certain fields on their own after verification to protect account integrity and prevent fraud.

If you need to make a change, review what can and cannot be updated below.

What You Cannot Update Yourself

After verification, you cannot manually change:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Phone number

To request these changes, contact TripCity Support with the email associated with your account.

Why Am I Being Rejected for Rideshare?

If your rideshare verification was rejected, review the most common reasons:

1. Inactivity

  • To be approved, you must show gig platform activity within the last 60 days.
  • Inactive or dormant rideshare accounts cannot be verified.

2. Using Someone Else’s Account

  • You must only use your own rideshare and TripCity accounts.
  • Using another person’s account or shared credentials will result in rejection.

Best Practices for Smooth Verification

  • Always use your legal name and correct date of birth.
  • Ensure all photos are clear, well-lit, and recent.
  • Keep your license valid and up to date.
  • Respond promptly if support requests additional verification.
