Vehicle Eligibility
Requirements your vehicle must meet to be listed on TripCity.
Basic Requirements
To ensure quality and safety for renters and owners, vehicles listed on TripCity must meet these standards:
- Age Limit: It is recommended to list vehicles that are less than 15 years old.
- Value Cap: Vehicle must have a market value of at least $5,000 ACV.
- Location & Registration: Vehicle must be located in the U.S., registered to you or your business, and meet all state and federal requirements.
- Condition: Vehicles must remain in excellent working order, with valid registration, inspections, and insurance at all times.
Ineligible Vehicles
The following vehicles cannot be listed on TripCity:
- Limousines
- Off-road vehicles
- Motorcycles
- RVs and camper vans
- Three-wheeled vehicles (ex: Slingshot)
- Vehicles requiring a commercial driver’s license (CDL)
Operational Standards
- Odometer: Must be working and untampered.
- Title Status: Must have a clean title (no rebuilt or salvage titles).
- Total Loss: Vehicles previously declared a total loss cannot be listed.
